An adventure trek from Sapa to Bac Ha to experience the best of the region's market. Most colourful are the Flower Hmong people. This Bac Ha great hikes of 3 days and 2 nights will all be set against the stunning back of Bac Ha's rice terraced mountains and sweeping valleys.
Arrive in the early morning at Lao Cai train station or Sapa town, where you’ll be picked up for a drive to Bac Ha to visit one of the following markets:
While smaller than some others in the region, these markets retain a distinctly local and authentic atmosphere. Enjoy brunch at the market while observing the lively trade of goods, including livestock such as pigs, buffaloes, and horses.
After the market, embark on a trek through picturesque terraced rice fields to reach your homestay. Dinner and overnight stay with a Dzao family.

After breakfast, set off on a trek along trails rarely visited by tourists. Experience authentic local culture as you trek from Ta Giang Pho to Lay Thuy Ngai, surrounded by stunning landscapes of terraced rice fields and untouched nature. Along the way, encounter members of the Red Dao and Black H’mong ethnic communities.
At the end of the trek, a driver will take you to a boat tour along the serene Chay River. Relax as you float down the calm waters, admiring the breathtaking scenery. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the boat. Later, transfer to Na Hoi village for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, visit the Hmong King’s Palace (Hoang A Tuong Palace), built in 1920 by the French and Chinese. The structure features a fascinating blend of European and Oriental architecture. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading back to Hanoi.
