We started our day with a delicious breakfast at the homestay. After packing our bags, we embarked on an adventure to the La Chi villages. There, we met women with black teeth and radiant smiles. They skillfully wove fabrics, hand-dyed crafts, and dried rice in the fields, all while living together in traditional stilt houses with multiple generations.
Following a two-hour walk through the picturesque fields, we traveled by car to Thong Nguyen, renowned for its breathtaking terraced rice fields. We enjoyed a delightful lunch at a local restaurant before embarking on a 10-12km trek through the charming villages and stunning rice fields of Nam Hong. Finally, we concluded our day with a well-deserved rest at the home of a welcoming Dao ethnic family.
