Adventure to Mai Chau Valley & Pu Luong Nature Reserve

Here, daily life begins early. You'll wake up with your host family and join their morning activities. Enjoy a stroll around Hang village before breakfast.

At 8:00 AM, your five to six-hour trek will commence. The initial ascent is challenging, with steep climbs and stream crossings. However, the subsequent part of the trek offers stunning views of valleys, rice terraces, and lush rainforest.

You'll stop for a rest and a picnic lunch in Eo Ken village. Afterward, you'll continue to Kho Muong, a breathtaking village nestled between towering karst mountains and picturesque rice terraces. You'll spend the night in a traditional Thai eco-stilt house in Kho Muong.

Enjoy breakfast before embarking on a challenging full-day hike. The trail winds through the valley, featuring steep climbs and several stream crossings. You'll reach a remarkable recently discovered cave, now protected by local forest rangers.

The trail continues into more remote areas, yet you'll encounter villagers tending to their fields throughout your journey. As you trek towards Nua village, you'll be captivated by breathtaking views of towering limestone mountains and lush rainforests within the Pu Luong Nature Reserve.

After a strenuous hike, a refreshing dip in a cool stream is an invigorating experience. Following your swim, you can enjoy a picnic lunch and relax in the shade. In the afternoon, you'll continue to Hin village. You'll be welcomed as honored guests and share a delightful dinner with the locals in their traditional home.

After enjoying breakfast with the locals, you'll leave Hin village and embark on a full-day trek towards Son village. The challenging climb will lead you deeper into the Pu Luong Nature Reserve, allowing you to experience its diverse and vibrant tropical forest.

After a picnic lunch, you'll continue trekking to the picturesque Son village to witness the breathtaking sunset. Take a break and relax in a stilt house, or explore the village and interact with its friendly and welcoming residents. You'll enjoy dinner and spend the night in Son village.

Hotels

After enjoying breakfast prepared by your guide, you'll embark on your final trek towards Ton village. This leisurely trek will take you through scenic rice paddies and lush jungle, providing a relaxing way to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

After approximately two and a half hours, you'll reach Ton village. A driver will then pick you up and transport you to Muong Khen town for lunch. Following lunch, you'll be transferred back to Hanoi, arriving in the afternoon.
