Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

  Transfer:
Activities: Hanoi arrival, Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, Old Quarter, Water Puppet show

After receiving a cordial welcome at Noi Bai Airport, you will be driven to the heart of Hanoi for lunch.

One of the most picturesque tourist destinations in Hanoi is the Temple of Literature, so start your journey there after lunch and a brief rest. When you visit the Temple of Literature, you may tour buildings that date back to the Ly and Tran dynasties. This hallowed location is now a testament to literature and education.

Go from the old ambiance to the center of the city, where a cyclo tour awaits you to discover the evocative Hoan Kiem Lake and the graceful Old Quarter boulevards adorned with trees. The never-ending hustle and bustle of Hanoi's 36 Old Streets, which are adorned with intriguing French colonial homes, will undoubtedly astound you. Enjoy the fresh air from Hoan Kiem Lake and let your hair down as the cyclo takes you through the bustling streets of Hanoi. You can see the small, endearing objects that line the streets. The lake seems to be a scale model of Hanoi, complete with people going about their daily lives—walking, running, conversing, working out, or painting. The lake's centerpiece is a quiet, little, yet exquisite bridge that is situated in one of its corners. There is a little structure in the center of the lake called "Tortoise Tower" and it has a fascinating history.
