Day 1: Ho Chi Minh arrival

Ho Chi Minh City, once renowned as the "Diamond of the Far East" for its unparalleled luxury surpassing even Hong Kong and Bangkok, now stands as Vietnam's most populous city. 1  Upon arriving at Tan Son Nhat Airport, you'll be warmly greeted by your dedicated guide and driver. They will escort you to your centrally located hotel for a comfortable stay. The remainder of the day is yours to explore at your own pace.

Indulge in the vibrant culinary scene of Pham Ngu Lao Street and its surrounding area. Sample local favorites like "Bap Xao," a delightful stir-fry of corn and dried shrimp, and the iconic "Banh Trang Nuong," often referred to as the Vietnamese pizza. For a truly authentic experience, discover "Cafe Bet," a charming streetside cafe easily spotted near the Notre Dame Cathedral or at the intersection of Pasteur and Han Thuyen streets. Simply find a comfortable spot, and a vendor will promptly approach you to take your order. The refreshing "Cafe Sua Da," a traditional iced coffee, is a highly recommended choice.

Your day begins with an 8:00 AM pick-up by your guide and driver, setting off on an exciting exploration of Ho Chi Minh City. 

First, you'll visit the Reunification Palace, a striking blend of traditional and modern architecture, reflecting the unique style of the 1960s. Next, you'll step back in time at the Central Post Office, one of the city's oldest buildings. This architectural masterpiece seamlessly blends Gothic, Renaissance, and French influences, captivating visitors with its stunning colonial features both inside and out.

The iconic Notre Dame Cathedral, a prominent symbol of the city, will be your next stop. This magnificent structure rises to an impressive height of 60 meters, standing tall in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. Enjoy a delicious Halal lunch from 12:30 to 1:30 PM.

After a brief respite, you'll delve into the poignant history of the War Remnants Museum. This museum, overseen by the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City, serves as a powerful testament to the war's devastating impact on Vietnam. It houses a comprehensive collection of evidence showcasing the crimes and consequences inflicted by the invading forces. Finally, you'll experience the vibrant energy of the Ben Thanh Market, a bustling hub of activity during the day and a lively social center as the sun sets.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – Cao Dai – Cu Chi (B, Halal L)

Your morning begins with a prompt 8:00 AM pick-up by your guide, followed by a transfer to the captivating Cao Dai Temple. This unique religious site seamlessly blends elements of Confucianism, Taoism, Christianity, and Buddhism. Prepare to be mesmerized by the vibrant colors and awe-inspiring architecture that create a truly special and spiritually uplifting atmosphere.

Enjoy a delicious Halal lunch from 12:30 to 1:30 PM.

After a brief rest, embark on a journey to the renowned Cu Chi Tunnels. These extraordinary underground networks, stretching for an impressive 200 kilometers, were ingeniously constructed by the Vietcong during the Vietnam War.

Following your visit, you will be comfortably transferred to Ho Chi Minh City, where you can freely enjoy the remainder of your time.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh (B, Halal L)

Your day begins with a prompt 8:00 AM pick-up from your hotel by your guide and driver. You'll then embark on a journey to Phong Nam, a charming district nestled within Ben Tre province.

Upon reaching Phong Nam Bridge around 10:00 AM, you'll embark on a scenic cruise along the Chet Say River. Observe the lively river traffic where goods are transported by boat, and admire the unique "coconut organ," a musical instrument crafted from coconut shells.

Your journey continues with a visit to local brick kilns, offering a glimpse into the traditional brick-making process. You'll also witness the production of coconut shell charcoal, a key ingredient in the creation of activated charcoal. Furthermore, you'll have the opportunity to observe the various stages of coconut processing, including skinning, smashing, prizing, and smoothing.

Relax and savor the refreshing taste of fresh coconut water while cruising along the Cai Son Canal. You'll also visit a coconut candy oven, where you can enjoy freshly made hot coconut candy, sample seasonal fruits, and sip on aromatic honey tea.

Next, you'll explore the traditional mat-weaving village of Nhon Thanh. Travel through the picturesque village roads on a leisurely xe-lôi (motorized rickshaw) or by bicycle, soaking in the peaceful ambiance.

After a delightful lunch at a local restaurant, you'll embark on a serene sampan boat ride, enjoying the captivating scenery along the coconut canal.

Finally, you'll board a motorboat and return to Hung Vuong Dock, where your driver will be waiting to transport you back to Ho Chi Minh City.
