If you have short amount of time but want to visit the highlights of Myanamar, this tour is an ideal option for you. With only five days, you will have a chance to discover from the busiest city of Myanmar – Yangon to the most pre-eminent religious old cities in South East Asia – Bagan, end the trip by visiting Mandalay – the spiritual heart of Burma. Joining us and you will take part in many interesting activities from sight-seeing, friend-making, culture exploring, history discovering to food tasting. How wonderful it is!

Day 1: Yangon Arrival

Activities:  Yangon Arrival; Visit the old colonial-style city centre; Chauk-htat-gyi Pagoda; ogyoke Market; China Town 

Upon arrival at the Yangon International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and then transfer to your hotel in city centre. Please kindly note that your hotel rooms will be ready at 14:00 hrs. The early check-in can be guaranteed with a surcharge.

Afterwards, our guide will give you an interesting introduction about the old colonial-style city centre. We will visit Chauk-htat-gyi Pagoda - the 6-storey-high Buddha Image and famous for its huge image of Reclining Buddha, the gilded Sule Pagoda - dating back over two thousand years and is said to enshrine a hair of the Buddha. We continue to explore Bogyoke Market, sometimes it called by old British name is Scott Market where the largest selection of Myanmar handicrafts and souvenirs open, you’ll find under several roofs, from lacquerware and Shan shoulder bags to puppets and jewelry. And you will have chance to visit China Town in late evening. We enjoy our welcomed dinner for the very first taste of Burmese cuisine.

Day 2: Yangon - Fly to Bagan - City Tour

After breakfast at your hotel, our guide will transfer you to the airport to take flight to Bagan in early morning. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel and check in hotel.

We will start to to discover Bagan – the home to the largest and densest concentration of Buddhist temples, pagodas, stupas and ruins in the world with many dating from the 11th and 12th centuries. The sightseeing starts with most distinctive pagodas such as Shwezigon Pagoda – a massive reliquary to enshrine a collection of relics, including the Buddha’s frontal and collar bones, Gubyaukgyi Temple – it is opined that the monument belongs to the early 13th century depending on judging by its architectural style and fine frescoes; Ananda Temple – one of the masterpieces surviving and remaining in Bagan and considered to be in the Mon architecture style; Thatbyinnyu Temple – the tallest temple in Bagan with two strorey. Emerging yourself in romantic scenery when the sunset over the Ayeyarwaddy River from Shwesandaw Pagoda (or Bupaya).

After breakfast at your hotel, we will begin visiting Nyaung Oo market – a typical local market where you can easy to find all Myanmar goods as well as learn about the local people life. Then, we will see Kyansittha UminManuha, NanbayaDhamanyangyi Temple - built by King Narathu in 12th century which displayed the finest brickwork in Bagan. We enjoy a sunset boat that cruise on the Irrawaddy Rive to view the sunset and take the most beautiful pictures in sunset.

Day 4: Bagan- Mandalay

Activities:   Bagan - Fly to Mandalay - City Tour

In early monring, you will go to Bagan airport to take a domestic flight to Mandalay – the old capital of Burma. Upon arrival, we will drive to Amarapura, the name means “City of Immortality” although its life as Myanmar’s capital was all too brief. Then you will visit Mahagandayon Monastery – the magnificient monastery with more than 3000 monks living and studying here, where you can see hundereds of monks wait in long queues fro their Swan in every morning. We continue to visit the oldest Teak Bridge built in 1782 – U Bein Bridge. Our next stop is Atumashi – “Incomparable Monastery”, Shwenandaw Monastery is well known for it teak carvings of Buddish myths, which adorn its walls and roofs.

In the late afternoon, we will visit Kuthodaw Pagoda - known as the world’s biggest book for its stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures and visit Mandalay Hill to admire the sunset and panoramic view of the City.

Day 5: Mandalay - Fly to Yangon - Departure

Afterbreakfast, we will transfer to the airport to take domestic flight back to Yangoon. Upon arrival, we will visit Shwedagon Pagoda – the symbol of Myanmar, the pagoda sits a top of a hill and is 99 meters high, it can be seen from most places of Yangoon day and night as the golden roof illuminates the city. This massive bell-shaped stupa rises nearly 100 meters above its hill-top surroundings. We wander through this magnificent structure and its courtyards, stupas, bells, temples, and Buddha images, and see religious and secular visitors from all parts of the globe. Free at leisure in the rest of the day until be transferred to the airport for departure flight. End the services!!!
