Drive from Ba Be to Quang Uyen in Cao Bang province, Visit Hua Ma cave

After breakfast with your host family, your journey today will start with a visit to Hua Ma, a dry cave with thousands of amazing stalactites, followed by a drive around Ba Be Lake. Then as you cross through rainforest leaving Ba Be, you will stop for lunch in Cho Ra Town, before continuing on to Quang Uyen, a district inhabited primarily by Nung ethnic minority communities. Due to their isolation and the remote nature of the district, their centuries old traditions and culture remains recognizably distinct from other minorities in Vietnam. This remoteness and traditional simplicity is what makes Quang Uyen so appealing, and you will be able to experience this first-hand as you will stay overnight at a homestay in the village. Dinner with the local family.

Visit Ban Gioc Waterfall, Nguom Ngao cave and local market

The third day is likely to be your highlight of the tour, as we take you to one of the most incredible natural wonders in Northern Vietnam: Ban Gioc Waterfall. This breath-taking 300-metre wide cascade sits right on the border between China and Vietnam, amidst a beautiful mountainous landscape. While you’re here you can spend your time relaxing in the glow of the natural beauty, take some amazing photos, and board a bamboo boat that will take you so close to the falls you’ll feel the spray on your face, practically sitting at the very edge of Vietnam, so close to China that you can actually touch it. After enjoying the waterfall, you will venture deep underground into the magical Nguom Ngao Cave to discover the rock formations which have been carved by erosion over millennia, before heading to a local market where local people from across the region come to buy and sell locally produced products, as well as socialize with people from other communities. You will then hike to Phat Tich Temple which as well as giving great insight into local beliefs, offers unrivalled views of Ban Gioc Waterfall with China in the background. Rounding out the day, you will then travel to Lang Son where you will spend the night in a Hotel.

Transfer from Lang Son to Ha Long, Explore the World Natural Heritage, Stay overnight on cruise

07.30 AM: The driver will pick you up at the hotel, departing 4 hours to Halong Bay – the World Natural Heritage recognized by UNESCO twice. Upon arrival, embark the cruise and enjoy welcome drink while having tour briefing. A sumptuous lunch will be served on board while the ship sailing further to the Bay, make your time to admire its dramatic limestone islands. 
You can rest at your leisure on the sundeck or relax in your cabin. In the afternoon, you will have time to swim in the warm and calm water or get on kayaks of your choice. Kayaking is very easy for all levels and ages to do. Our expert and experienced guide surely instruct you basic paddling steps before leading you to explore the extraordinary beauty of Halong Bay. After 01 hour exploring the bay, you will get back to the cruise for relaxation before attending Cooking class in the late afternoon.

Enjoy the sightseeing in Halong Bay, Drive back to Hanoi

You will continue our journey on Halong Bay in the early morning. A Tai Chi Class on the sun deck is a must that you should not miss when on a cruise. 

Sitting on the upper deck; you can relax, sight-seeing while taking photos of the magnificent beauty of the rocky islands rising from the emerald water of the bay. 

After breakfast, you will explore Sung Sot cave - one of the finest and widest grottoes of Halong Bay. Next, keep cruising and passing the fishing village with its unique way of life. 

At 10.30 AM, our boat cruises back to the jetty, and you will enjoy the last moment in the bay before having a traditional Vietnamese lunch.

You leave the boat around 11:30 at noon, you go ashore and transfer back to Noi Bai airport for your onward flight.
