DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN VIENTIANE

Our driver and guide will meet you at the airport when you arrive in Vientiane and take you to your accommodation. The remainder of the day is yours to do as you like. You may start by strolling around this capital city's bustling streets. Spend the night at the Vientiane hotel.

DAY 2: EXPLORE VIENTIANE AND THE BUDDHA PARK (B)

After breakfast, embark on a captivating exploration of Vientiane, the charming capital of Laos.

Visit the renowned Vat Phra Keo, a magnificent temple dating back to 1565, once home to the revered Emerald Buddha. 

Then, explore the architectural beauty of Vat Sisaket, famous for its cloisters adorned with thousands of tiny Buddha images.

Next, witness the grandeur of Pha That Louang, a significant religious and national symbol, showcasing unique Laotian architectural style.

Ascend the Patuxay Monument, inspired by the Arc de Triomphe, for breathtaking panoramic city views.

In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the mystical Buddha Park, home to hundreds of fascinating sculptures depicting Buddhas, deities, and mythical creatures.

Conclude the day with a relaxing return to your hotel.

DAY 3 FLY TO LUANG PRABANG (B)

Today, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Luang Prabang.

Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and driver and escorted to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to explore the vibrant streets of Luang Prabang at your own pace. Discover charming cafes, savor delicious street food, and immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of this captivating town.

DAY 4: LUANG PRABANG SIGHTSEEING AND KUANG SI WATERFALLS (B)

Begin your exploration with a visit to the vibrant Phosi Market, a bustling hub of activity in Luang Prabang. Discover a kaleidoscope of sights and sounds, from dried buffalo skin to fresh produce and exquisite local crafts.

Next, marvel at the stunning Kuang Si Waterfall, cascading over limestone formations into a series of turquoise pools. Enjoy the refreshing spray and the tranquility of the surrounding lush greenery.

Return to Luang Prabang and immerse yourself in its rich cultural heritage. Visit the iconic Wat Xieng Thong, a photographer's delight, and the breathtaking Wat Sene, renowned for its exquisite beauty.

As the sun begins to set, climb the 329 steps of Mount Phousi, culminating in a golden stupa offering panoramic views of the city and the Mekong River.

Conclude your day with a vibrant exploration of the H'mong Night Market, a treasure trove of local crafts and delectable culinary delights.

DAY 5: HALF DAY CRUISE TO PAK OU CAVES (B, L) - JOIN-IN TOUR

This morning, our tuk tuk driver will collect you from your hotel and transport you to the boat jetty.

Embark on a captivating journey along the Mekong River aboard the Nava Mekong, a traditional river boat, departing at 10:00 AM. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the riverbanks, observing the peaceful rhythm of rural life.

During the two-hour cruise upstream to the Pak Ou Caves, stop at the charming Ban Xang Hai village. Explore the Pak Ou Caves, adorned with thousands of ancient Buddha statues, an important pilgrimage site for Lao people during the New Year. Savor a delicious selection of traditional Lao dishes during the leisurely cruise back downstream.

Arrive back in Luang Prabang around 2:00 PM. You will be met at the jetty and transferred back to your hotel.

DAY 6: FLY TO HANOI (B)

Today, you will say goodbye to enchanting Luang Prabang andstart a flight to Hanoi.

Upon arrival in Hanoi, after your journey, check into your hotel and unwind. Indulge in the vibrant flavors of Hanoi with some delicious local dishes, preparing for a day filled with exciting discoveries in this captivating city.

DAY 7: EXPERIENCE HANOI AND STREET FOOD - OVERNIGHT TRAIN TO LAO CAI (B, D)

Begin your day with a vibrant exploration of Hang Be Market, a bustling hub in the heart of the Old Quarter. Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds as you encounter a kaleidoscope of goods, from fresh produce to local delicacies.

Next, visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hanoi's oldest pagoda, dating back to the 6th century. 

Continue your journey to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university.

In the afternoon, pay your respects at Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and explore his traditional stilt house.

Embark on a captivating street food tour through the Old Quarter. Savor delicious local dishes like Bun Cha and Banh Cuon, and indulge in flavorful street snacks.

Conclude your culinary adventure at Banh My Hanoi, a hidden gem offering a delectable selection of Hanoi's finest street foods, including the renowned Egg Coffee.

In the evening, travel to the train station for your overnight journey to Lao Cai, the gateway to Sapa. The train offers a comfortable and scenic journey through the Vietnamese countryside.

DAY 8: FANSIPAN MOUNT CABLE CAR - SAPA HALF DAY WALKING (B)

Arrive in Lao Cai early in the morning and be greeted by our guide and driver at the train station. Transfer to your hotel in Sapa and enjoy a hearty breakfast.

Embark on an exhilarating journey to the summit of Fansipan Mountain, the "Roof of Indochina," via the world's longest three-rope cable car system.

Marvel at the breathtaking panoramic views from the summit.

Descend via a scenic train ride and explore the summit, visiting the Thanh Phong Pagoda or browsing the local shops.

Enjoy a leisurely drive through the picturesque countryside, stopping at the magnificent Silver Waterfall before continue the road trip for some kilometers further to Heaven Gate and Tram Ton Pass.

Visit a lush farm in O Quy Ho, where diverse crops and medicinal plants thrive.

Conclude your day with a relaxing return to your hotel in Sapa.

DAY 9: SAPA FULL DAY WALKING - OVERNIGHT TRAIN TO HANOI (B, L)

Today, embark on a scenic hike through the breathtaking Sapa Valley. Descend along the Cau May road (6km), admiring the mist-shrouded rice terraces.

Trek through Muong Hoa River, passing through the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai and the charming Ta Van village. Cross a small suspension bridge and discover fascinating rock carvings depicting ancient life. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local home.

Continue your hike through a serene bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai, a village inhabited by the Red Dao ethnic minority. Refresh yourself near a cascading waterfall before returning to the road.

Transfer back to your hotel in Sapa, freshen up, and prepare for your return journey to Hanoi by train.

DAY 10: TRAVEL TO HA LONG BAY BY SHUTTLE BUS (B, L, D)

You'll arrive in Hanoi early and check into a hotel near the train station. After breakfast, a shuttle bus will take you to Hai Phong. From there, you'll board a cruise boat and sail into Halong Bay, a stunningly beautiful bay.

Once on board, you'll have lunch. Then, you'll cruise through the bay, admiring the impressive limestone formations. You'll also have time to swim in a secluded cove and explore a hidden cave.

After dinner, you can relax on the deck and enjoy the sunset. Optional evening activities include squid fishing or watching a movie.

DAY 11: RETURN TO HANOI BY SHUTTLE BUS (B, BRUNCH)

This morning, you will have free time to participate in another Tai Chi class or explore the bay further.

Around midday, you'll return to Hanoi by shuttle bus from the pier. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you like. You'll stay overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 12: DEPART FROM HANOI (B)

Today you have a free day to explore Hanoi at your own pace. Perhaps you'd like to revisit a favorite spot or simply soak in the atmosphere of the city streets one last time. You'll have plenty of time to enjoy Hanoi before being picked up three hours before your flight and transported to Noi Bai Airport by your driver.

While your journey is concluding, you'll undoubtedly depart Vietnam with a treasure trove of joyful memories. Remember that Vietnam always welcomes you back with open arms. Until next time!
